What it does
Photo files store details such as the date taken, the device and the location. PhotoBookInfo reads them, sums them up in plain words and, if you want, makes a copy without them.
How it works
Everything happens inside your browser. Photos are never uploaded or stored anywhere. The part that reads your photo runs in a separate, locked-down frame with network access blocked, so even the ads on the page can't reach your photo's information. Details are in the privacy policy.
Why we made it
Old prints had the date and place written on the back. Digital photos keep the same information inside the file, yet most people share them without knowing. We built this so that one photo of an item for sale doesn't reveal where you live.
Cost
PhotoBookInfo is free and needs no account. Running costs are covered by the ads on the page.

There's no need to email the photo itself. Telling us the screen where the problem happened, or the file type, is enough.
